Shannon Murphy

Shannon Murphy

I help busy professionals who are tired of hustle-as-virtue and ready to trade constant busywork for clear routines that actually move the needle. I combine evidence-based habit design, stress-reduction practices, and realistic scheduling so change feels possible — not punitive. My clients get concrete wins (better sleep, fewer afternoon crashes, calmer mornings) and a plan they can keep when life inevitably gets messy. I’m pragmatic, a little skeptical of sweeping wellness trends, and big on testing small changes. Expect direct questions, zero judgment, and experiments you can run between sessions. If you want cheerleading without a plan, I’m not your coach. If you want measurable improvements and a coach who’ll hold the line (and your calendar), we’ll get along fine.

Approach to Therapy

My approach is practical and rhythm-based. We’ll start by taking a clear look at how your days actually unfold—your sleep, energy spikes, crashes, and what you’ve already tried. I don’t hand out hour-long morning routines or wellness homework that only works when life is perfect. Instead, we focus on micro-changes that fit inside the life you already have. Together, we’ll run small experiments (think 5–20 minutes) that are easy to test and even easier to measure. We look at what improves things and what doesn’t, then adjust. I pull from cognitive behavioral strategies, habit science, and breathwork techniques you can use when stress hits in real time—not just in a calm room. Sessions are structured but not rigid. We check in on what’s working, what felt impossible, and what surprised you. Each week, you’ll leave with one or two small shifts and a clear plan to track the results. The goal isn’t to become a different person—it’s to make being you feel more sustainable. This work is ideal for people who are ready to change the systems around their well-being, not just try to “stay motivated.”
