Approach to Therapy

My approach to therapy is trauma-informed, structured, and results-oriented. I believe insight is important, but change requires action. In our work together, we won’t just talk about patterns — we’ll identify them, challenge them, and build concrete strategies to shift them. I integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), relapse prevention, and strengths-based interventions to support sustainable change. I work collaboratively with clients to increase emotional awareness, improve coping skills, and strengthen accountability. Therapy with me is active and engaging — you can expect direct feedback, practical tools, and meaningful reflection. I specialize in substance use disorders, dual diagnosis, anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral health concerns. Whether you are navigating early recovery, high-functioning anxiety, burnout, or long-standing trauma, my goal is to help you build resilience, emotional regulation, and a healthier relationship with yourself and others. Healing is not about perfection. It’s about progress, ownership, and learning how to respond differently — even when it’s hard.
