Approach to Therapy
My approach to therapy is gentle and empathic but direct. I also believe that in order for my client to feel better, they need to know almost as much as I do about their diagnosis and ways to manage it. My aim is to use goal oriented strategies to move my client closer to the life they want and away from the things in their that are currently keeping them stuck. A big part of this is empowerment and I give my clients the tools they need to feel this way and more in control of their lives again.
