Ashley Carter Youngblood
Given my multiple professional licenses and a handful of other certifications, I can offer a unique perspective to clients about how to achieve deep, holistic, and trauma-informed healing - mind, body, and spirit. While I work with all adults, I particularly love to work with Highly Sensitive People and women with anxiety. My passion is helping others do the deep, life-changing work that include moments in therapy that completely transform one's perspective and alters the course of one's life. But, my style is not to be an an advice-giver or instructor. I view you as the best healer of your own Self and see my role as merely offering the education I have about holistic health (e.g. nutrition, herbalism, female hormones) to help create a sustainable change that I have seen occur time and time again with even with one small change. Given my passion for helping all be their best selves, in addition to my work as a therapist, I also offer coaching and consultation services for both clients and colleagues.
Areas of Expertise
Therapeutic Approach
At my very core I identify as a healer. I view myself as a healer not because I know and can do it all but because I assist people in their journey to educating themselves about their mind, body, and spirit and being their own best healer. I became a therapist because of my passion to help people learn about themselves and grow. And, I also believe that people CAN heal, no matter the situation or symptom. So, my approach to therapy is not being the expert but helping you to become your own best expert in your Self.
