Heather Mattson
I am passionate about helping individuals navigate life transitions, process trauma, and strengthen their relationships with themselves and others. Drawing from evidence-based practices such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, mindfulness, and play therapy, I tailor my approach to each client’s needs and strengths. At the core of my work is the belief that every person holds the capacity for change and healing when given a space that fosters trust, compassion, and collaboration. My role is to walk alongside clients in that process—supporting, challenging, and empowering them as they reconnect with their sense of self and purpose. As a therapist, I believe in meeting clients where they are and honoring each person’s unique path toward healing and growth. My approach is grounded in empathy, authenticity, and curiosity. I strive to create a safe and nonjudgmental environment where clients can explore their experiences, develop insight, and build resilience. My goal as a therapist is to provide a warm, collaborative space where clients feel seen, supported, and empowered. I integrate multiple approaches—including cognitive-behavioral, trauma-informed, and play-based interventions—to meet clients where they are in their healing journey. I’m passionate about helping children, teens, and adults build self-awareness
