Certified Integrative Mental Health Professional
You wake up already exhausted, even after a full night in bed. You push through the day on caffeine and willpower, then crash the moment you get home. Your mind races at night while your body feels depleted. You feel irritable or tearful for no clear reason, & then feel guilty for snapping at the people closest to you. You avoid making plans because you never know how you will feel. You have been told your labs are “normal,” that stress is the problem, or that it is anxiety, even though something in your body feels deeply off. You start to question your own perception of your symptoms. "Is it all in my head?" I specialize in working with adult women experiencing chronic fatigue, mood fluctuations, anxiety, depression, trauma, and emotional overwhelm, particularly when traditional mental health approaches have not fully addressed the root of what’s going on. Many of my clients identify as sensitive, deep-thinking, or high-functioning individuals who feel frustrated by being told that their symptoms are “just stress” or “all in their head.” My approach integrates Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) with mind-body and somatic-informed practices, while also exploring how factors such as nervous system regulation, burnout, chronic stress, and possible physical contributors can impact mental health. Therapy with me is collaborative, validating, and focused on helping you reconnect with your body, your values, and your sense of inner steadiness. Through my practice, Soma and Soul, I aim to bridge the gap between mental health care and whole-person healing. I offer a space where your emotional experiences are taken seriously and explored through a compassionate, integrative lens. My hope is you can move toward greater clarity, energy, and resilience. If your symptoms have made you forget what it feels like to be excited about the future, I would be honored to work with you. I am currently a private pay, out-of-network provider. While I don't accept insurance directly, your insurance plan may have out-of-network benefits, which means they will reimburse you for a portion of our session cost. I have partnered with Thrizer to handle the out-of-network process automatically for you. With Thrizer, you only have to pay a co-pay for our sessions once you meet your deductible instead of paying my full fee and waiting for reimbursement. This typically allows clients to save on average 70% on our sessions. During our intake process, I can help you verify if you have out-of-network benefits and how much your co-pay would be.
Areas of Expertise
Therapeutic Approach
My approach to therapy is integrative, mind-body focused, and rooted in whole-person care. I believe that mental health symptoms such as anxiety, depression, trauma, emotional dysregulation, and chronic overwhelm are not isolated experiences. They are often deeply intertwined with the nervous system, chronic stress, and physical health factors that deserve careful consideration. I draw primarily from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), helping clients build "psychological flexibility," reconnect with their values, and develop a more compassionate relationship with their internal experiences. Alongside ACT, I incorporate somatic and nervous system-informed practices to support regulation, embodiment, and safety in the body. This is especially important for clients who feel stuck, exhausted, or disconnected despite insight-oriented work. What makes my work unique is that I intentionally bridge mental health care with an awareness of possible physical contributors to emotional symptoms. While I do not diagnose or treat medical conditions, I help clients explore how factors such as chronic fatigue, burnout, stress physiology, and mind-body patterns may be influencing their mood and mental health. This perspective is especially supportive for individuals who have felt invalidated or overlooked within traditional systems of care. Therapy with me is collaborative, non-pathologizing, and deeply validating. I work best with adult women, sensitive nervous systems, and deep thinkers who are seeking more than symptom management. They want understanding, clarity, and sustainable change. My goal is to help clients feel grounded in their bodies, aligned with their values, and empowered to move forward with greater resilience, self-trust, and overall health.
