Estella Ngoie

I truly believe that being a counselor is what I have been called to do. With more than a decade of experience, my primary passion is providing counseling services to individuals, couples, families, and groups. Counseling/therapy is a collaborative journey, and my primary objective is to partner with you in achieving your goals! Together we will identify the areas you wish to focus on at the onset of our journey, and continue to evaluate your goals throughout the treatment process. I use an integrative approach because this allows me to customize a treatment plan to suit your individual needs . . . mental health care is not a one-size-fits-all solution. What I cherish most about my role is the privilege of witnessing my clients’ resilience and transformation firsthand. There's nothing more rewarding than observing my clients evolve in ways they once thought were impossible. For this reason, I always welcome your feedback if I fall short of your expectations, and appreciate your input on how I can improve. My hope is that anyone who comes to see me feels free to be themselves and explore any and all issues that matter to them. As a BIPOC, neurodivergent woman who has navigated my own mental health challenges, I am deeply invested in combatting the stigma surrounding mental health within marginalized and disenfranchised communities. I believe it is crucial to recognize and address the unique challenges these groups encounter, and work towards a world that values and promotes inclusivity. Additionally, I am committed to raising awareness and educating others about trauma and the deep-rooted impact it has had on individual, systemic, racial, and cultural levels in our society. My desire is to see a world where everyone can find the healing and understanding they deserve.
