Adrianna Pena-Van Den Bossche
I graduated with a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a specialization in Family and Couples therapy from Walden University as of August 4th, 2024. My emphasis in clinical mental health counseling focuses on stress, anxiety, depression, trauma, couples, and life adjustments. My educational coursework spans from individual counseling, group counseling, addictions counseling, couples and family counseling, career counseling, multicultural counseling, theories and techniques of counseling, ethics, assessments in counseling, crisis and trauma, and human sexuality. I have demonstrated competency serving clients in a private practice setting within practicum and internship experience. Additionally, I have experience in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), working with children and young adults (ages 0-21) diagnosed with autism. I entered the ABA field in 2018 and became an assistant behavior analyst in 2021. As of February 2025, my status in the field is inactive. This experience has enhanced my ability to work with neurodivergent individuals and to incorporate behavioral strategies into counseling when appropriate.
